Hey there, my name's Anna and I'm from Perth, WA. I have currently been keeping an eye on weight loss for about 4-5 months now. I joined Weight Watchers in August last year and started following the Points Plan. I was really happy with the way it went. I'd tried losing weight by myself before but never really stuck to it longer than a week. I just couldn't get motivated etc. And you don't really realise that even though you think you're eating properly, the stuff you're eating actually IS loaded with stuff. I was surprised at some things when I went to WW.
I managed to stick pretty well to the points for about 3 months and lost 7kg in that time. In the last week of school last year, I had too many school concerts and staff windups to go to (I was teaching at 4 schools) that had piles of gorgeous food and I thought "well it's the Christmas season and I just can't keep it up at this time of year" so I stopped following the points. I've only REALLY started to follow them again properly this week. I'm amazed that despite all the junk I ate between then and now I managed to actually LOSE 0.8 for some reason. But losing 7kg is only halfway and I want to get to my goal in the next couple of months, so I'm committing myself to it again. Another 9 to go!
